![]() There isn't anything that eclipse does better, based on my workflow, than PhpStorm does at this point though.ĮDIT: One thing I forgot to add is that PhpStorm has a very useful Data Source feature that allows you to write sql in your code and it will auto complete the tables and columns for you. I've always had eclipse on every single machine I owned though since I started using it until I got a new MacBook Pro about 6 months ago. ZendStudio eventually built their stuff on top of eclipse so I made my way back to regular eclipse instead of ZendStudio eventually. I even used Aptana as well which was nice at one point. They had some nice built in debugging abilities that eclipse didn't have at the time but has now. I spent some time with the ZendStudio as well. I eventually moved over to eclipse and they all thought I was weird because they were all using vim or something else by then. All the vi guys didn't even know what gdb was but who debugged back then :-/ You couldn't beat it though for debugging. ![]() Everyone thought I was weird because they all used vi. I started programming 20 years ago using emacs. ![]()
